Kaylynn had her one year cake smash session with Angela Breckenridge yesterday. So far, the pictures do not disappoint, as always! I can not believe it! Is she really one?
Halloween came and went! I just can not update these blogs fast enough. Kaylynn had her first trick or treating experience this year on Halloween. On Saturday night we decided to attend the City of Killeen's Halloween Carnival. It was a mad house! So many people were there and I must say, Kaylynn loved it! She enjoyed being out, running around and seeing all of the kids. On Sunday morning, we got up and drove Kevin to the airport. He left for training in New Mexico. Luckily, Melissa came over to walk the streets of Killeen with me and my one year old! Our street was pretty dead but we were able to go a street down and hit up some houses. Kaylynn looked so adorable in her ladybug costume and had a blast in her little red wagon. She went up to every door and even tried to go in some houses! She loved seeing all of the little boys out and got some flirting in ;) We headed home and she loved helping Mommy and Melissa hand out candy! The next day she grabbed her candy bucket and headed for the door. Poor kid needs to learn that Halloween is only one day a year! I can not wait until next year...I am already thinking up a costume! Here are just a few pics from our weekend!
Crystal & Kevin started their journey in May 2006 and it's been a whirlwind ever since... We married on June 30, 2007, and Kevin left for Alabama a couple weeks later. After 3 months living apart we moved to Florida in November 2007 and then to Texas in August of 2008. Kevin deployed to Iraq right after we learned we were expecting our first baby. Crystal was just 8 weeks pregnant. When Kevin returned, Kaylynn was born a week later. Kaylynn Marie entered our lives on October 27, 2009 and is very much our little miracle. She was hard to concieve, hard to bake, and hard to deliver but she is nothing short of a joy. She entered our rowdy family, and joined our 2 pups Mardi & Mojo. We are loving our life as a family of 5!
